“Lolita, baptized the world’s “loneliest orca” was taken from her family, who fought the kidnappers to no avail in 1970, and was confined to a small tank at Miami Seaquarium, forced to perform tricks for her survival. Her concrete tank, is the equivalent of a bath tub. That’s where she spent her last 44 years, used as a cash machine by the people who stole away her life and family. A worldwide movement has begun to free Lolita to convince her unlawful takers to – at least – give her a dignified retirement by releasing her into the ocean!!” – Voices for  Taiji Dolphins
